Reef 2
Reef 2 is a local dive site near Sakhu, Thep Krasatti, and Choeng Thale in Phuket, Thailand. The site sits in shallow coastal waters and typically features a gentle slope with scattered coral formations and a mix of hard corals and soft corals, inhabited by Western Pacific reef species. Expect calm conditions and good visibility on clear days, with marine life commonly including clownfish, damselfish, wrasse, moray eels, and small reef sharks in some areas. Access is straightforward from nearby beaches and dive centres, making it a convenient option for day trips or short sessions. The site is often used for beginner to intermediate dives and for practicing bouyancy and currents are usually mild, though local variations can occur with tides. Depending on conditions, drift runs along the reef can be possible in stronger currents.
