Dhangethi
Ranveli Thila
Ranveli Thila is a small reef feature in the Maldives where divers typically explore shallow coral heads surrounding a sandy bottom. Access is usually by boat from local harbours, with calm, clear conditions common in good weather. The site often hosts a variety of reef fish, small-groupers, moray eels, nudibranchs and occasional visitas by larger pelagics near the edge of the thila. The underwater terrain includes scattered corals, small bommies and gentle drop-offs ideal for relaxed checking of marine life and macro subjects. Visibility varies with currents and weather but is commonly reasonable for a comfortable shallow dive. This site suits recreational divers looking for a straightforward Maldivian reef experience near local atolls.
