Punta Engano West

Punta Engano West is a local coastal dive site near Mactan Island, commonly accessed from the Liloan, Lapu-Lapu and Cordova hubs within a short drive. The site typically features shallow to mid-depth reefs and gentle sloping topography with occasional small drop-offs. Access is straightforward from nearby coastal towns, with calm conditions common in shallow mornings and variable afternoon currents. Expect typical Western Central Pacific/Maldives-like tropical marine life in this area, such as damselfish, clownfish, parrotfish, snappers, and occasional turtles in near-reef habitats. The site is suitable for beginners and for refresher dives, as well as short drift dives along gentle slope sections when conditions permit.
