Ponton de Arue is a coastal dive site near the city of ʻĀrue on Tahiti’s northeast coast. It offers a simple entry and calm conditions suitable for beginner and recreational divers. The site typically features gentle slope-bottom topography with sandy patches and occasional rocky outcrops that attract small reef communities. Expect Mediterranean-like tropical reef fish, wrasse and damselfish, with a likelihood of seeing parrotfish and occasionally reef sharks or rays in clear conditions.
