Playa Chen Rio

Playa Chen Rio is a coastal dive site set along a shallow tropical shore. The site features a gently sloping sandy bottom with patches of seagrass and occasional rocky outcrops. It is best suited for beginner to intermediate divers due to the typically calm conditions and modest depths. Expect common Caribbean reef life such as small reef fish, grunts, parrotfish, and occasional lucent squid or crabs near the soft sediments. The access is straightforward from nearby beaches, and currents are usually mild, making it a relaxed site for practice and leisurely underwater exploration.
