Pinnacoli

Pinnacoli is a coastal dive site near Santo Stefano al Mare in Liguria. The site features a series of rocky outcrops and small rocky pinnacles that rise from the seabed, creating varied topography for macro and reef-doc diving. Access is straightforward from local beaches or small coves, with an entry typically from shore or a short surface swim to the first pinnacles. Depths are shallow to moderate, making it suitable for experienced recreational divers and those building buoyancy skills. The area commonly hosts Mediterranean species such as wrasse, damselfish, sea bream, octopus, and moray eels, with dense posidonia meadows nearby supporting a rich ecosystem. Currents can be variable with good visibility on clear days. The site is often combined with a second dive at nearby features to maximize the sheltered conditions of this Ligurian coast.
