Palmanova Bay

Palmanova Bay is a sheltered coastal dive site on Mallorca’s southwest coast. The area features gentle sloping seabeds with rocky outcrops and scattered patches of Posidonia seagrass, typical of this stretch of the Mediterranean. Depths are shallow to moderate, making it suitable for beginners and for relaxed skills practice, while more experienced divers can explore around the rocky features and short swim-throughs. Expect clear to moderate visibility in good conditions, with common Western Mediterranean species such as groupers, moray eels, damselfish, and wrasses typical of nearshore habitats. Entry and exit are straightforward from the shoreline or a short rocky transect from the beach, and currents are usually light but can vary with wind and tides.
