Palma Caves

Palma Caves is a shallow coastal site near Palma de Mallorca, characterized by a network of limestone caverns and swim-throughs formed along rocky reefs. Access is straightforward from the shoreline, making it suitable for intermediate reef dives and skill-building under calm conditions. Expect clear water, with typical Mediterranean species such as damselfish, wrasse, and groupers, plus occasional octopus and lobsters around rocky overhangs. Entry is usually from a sandy/rocky bottom with gentle swims to the cavern systems. The site’s scenery features vaulted ceilings, filter-lit caverns, and shadowed swim-throughs that reward careful navigation and buoyancy control.
