Marigondon Beach

Marigondon Beach is a shallow coral-sand site on the Cebu coast, popular with local divers for beginners and refresher dives. The area features a sandy bottom with scattered coral heads and patches of seagrass, typical of this part of the Cebu Strait. Expect gentle currents and clear visibility in calm conditions, making for relaxed exploration along the edge of the beach and nearshore reef structures. Common tropical reef life in the area includes small reef fishes, damselfish, wrasses, and occasional juveniles. The site is often accessed directly from shore or a nearby beach entry, and is commonly combined with boat trips to more offshore dive spots in the Cebu region.
