Bunutan
Lipah Bay, Bali
Lipah Bay is a shallow, sandy-mresent coastline dive site on Bali’s east coast, known for easy entry and calm conditions suitable for beginners. The site typically features gentle slopes with short depth drops along a sandy seabed, occasionally interrupted by small coral patches and rocky outcrops closer to the shore. Expect a calm environment with relatively clear water, often good visibility for macro and easy reef-oriented dives. Common marine life includes small reef fish, wrasse, gobies, stingrays, and occasionally seagrass beds nearby. The site is frequently used as a training area or for relaxed recreational dives, and can be accessed from nearby beach or shore entries with modest currents and light surface conditions. Nearby villages and dive centers in Amed, Jemeluk, and Bunutan provide easy access and support for shore or boat dives.
