Les Sardinaux
Les Sardinaux is a shallow Mediterranean site near Sainte-Maxime in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Accessible within a few minutes by boat, it features rocky bottoms and scattered patches of Posidonia meadows typical of Western Mediterranean dive areas. Expect gentle currents and clear to good visibility on calm days. The site commonly hosts local marine life such as groupers, wrasses, damselfish, octopus, and moray eels, with crustaceans and a variety of nudibranchs on the rocky outcrops. Entry is straightforward from a small boat or shore-based access depending on conditions, and the site is suitable for beginner to intermediate divers familiar with shallow reef conditions. Nearby towns like Sainte-Maxime and Ramatuelle serve as good reference points for access and logistics.
