Saint Raphaël
Les Pyramides
Les Pyramides is a shallow, rocky reef site off the coast near Saint-Raphaël. The area features pyramid-shaped rock formations creating gentle slopes and small overhangs, typical of Mediterranean reef topography. Access is straightforward from the local coastline, with entry from a shore or a short boat ride depending on conditions. The site generally offers calm diving with clear water in good visibility and light currents. Expect common Western Mediterranean species such as groupers, amberjacks, moray eels, octopus, wrasses, and damsels, plus posidonia meadows in the vicinity. This site is suitable for introductory to intermediate divers and for practice on buoyancy and navigation, rather than a high-adventure destination.
