Lagoon

Lagoon is a shallow coastal dive site near Tioman Island. The site typically features calm conditions with clear water and gentle currents, making it suitable for beginners and drift-divers in light conditions. The lagoon aspect creates a sheltered environment with sandy patches interspersed by coral outcrops and seagrass beds, supporting a variety of reef-associated life. Expect common tropical species such as clownfish, damselfish, parrotfish, snappers, and small moray eels, along with occasional grazing rays and sea urchins on the sandy bottoms. Access from the shore or a light boat transfer is straightforward, and entry is usually from a sandy, gradual slope into waist-deep water.
