La Faille D Arue
La Faille d Arue is a coastal reef dive site located near Arue on the island of Tahiti. The site features a sloping reef with a pronounced fault line that creates a series of ridges and small crevices, typically dived from the southward entry. Depths commonly range from shallow to mid-depths, with the wall-like structure offering vertical sections and intermittent overhangs. Expect clear tropical water, moderate currents, and visibility that often exceeds 15 meters. Typical Western Pacific reef life includes a variety of damselfish, wrasses, parrotfish, anthias, and occasional reef cruisers such as trevally; macro subjects and nudibranchs can be encountered in sheltered spots. Access is straightforward from nearby towns within a few minutes’ drive, making it a convenient option for a half-day outing.
