L' Arche

L' Arche is a shallow coastal site near the French Riviera, accessible within minutes from Vallauris, Antibes, and Cannes. The site typically features a rocky reef slope with easy entry from the shore or a small local boat drop. Depths are shallow to moderate, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers depending on conditions. Expect clear Mediterranean waters, seasonal visibility variations, and typical Western Mediterranean life such as groupers, moray eels, wrasse, octopus, and nudibranchs, with posidonia meadows often nearby. Structure includes a shallow plateau and a series of ledges that provide interesting topography and shelter for marine life. Current is usually mild but can pick up slightly with tidal changes; plan for a relaxed drift or a calm-water no-drift dive depending on conditions.
