Ao Nang
Koh Bida Nai
Koh Bida Nai is a well-known tropical dive site in the Andaman Sea, part of the Phi Phi archipelago near Krabi. The site sits on a shallow coral reef terrace that slopes gently to around 20β25 meters, making it suitable for both beginners and more experienced divers. Expect clear turquoise water, good visibility, and a straightforward drift along the reef edge depending on currents. The reef hosts a lively mix of hard corals, colorful reef fish, and occasional pelagic sightings. Common encounters include parrotfish, snappers, bannerfish, moray eels, and a variety of reef invertebrates. Entry is from a calm, sandy beach or from a nearby boat dive, with easy orientation and multiple swim-throughs over the reef crest. This site is typically used for half to full-day trips from Krabi, Ao Nang, or nearby resort bases, and it remains a reliable choice for relaxed-pace dives with underwater scenery that suits a wide range of skill levels.
