Kegel Riff

Kegel Riff is a local Mediterranean dive site around Cala d'Or on Mallorca. The site typically features a shallow to mid-depth wall or coral rubble with a gradual slope that can suit beginner to intermediate divers depending on current. Access is straightforward from nearby coastal areas mentioned, and the site is commonly visited by local dive centers for guided shore or boat dives. Expect typical Western Mediterranean life such as damselfish, wrasse, octopus, and small groupers within Posidonia meadows and rocky outcrops. Conditions are best in calm weather with moderate visibility; currents can occur and should be treated with standard reef-diving precautions.
