Karang Tohor

Karang Tohor is a shallow reef site off Tioman Island, known for its healthy coral cover and colorful macro life. Positioned on a gentle slope, the dive usually starts near the reef crest and progresses along a series of small bommies and sandy patches. Visibility is commonly good in calm conditions, with steady currents that are usually mild enough for intermediate and experienced divers. Expect a mix of hard and soft corals, small reef fish, moray eels, and occasional larger reef inhabitants. Access is straightforward from Tioman's resort piers, with buoyancy and navigation planning advised to avoid areas of exposure during stronger tides.
