Jemeluk Bay
Jemeluk Bay is a shore-accessed tropical reef site on Bali’s northeast coast. The area features shallow to moderate depths with clear visibility typical of calm conditions, making it a popular choice for recreational dives. Expect sloping coral gardens, patches of sandy bottom, and occasional bommies hosting a variety of reef fish such as parrotfish, angelfish, and damselfish, with occasional larger species along the drop-offs. Access is straightforward from nearby dive centers in Jemeluk and the neighboring towns of Amed and Purwakerta, which provide lodging and boat support. Conditions are generally calm with light currents, suitable for beginner to intermediate divers, especially during good weather.
