Focacciola/Gemini Rock

Focacciola/Gemini Rock is a shallow to mid-depth rocky dive site off Elba Island. The site features a prominent rock outcrop with sloping hard substrate, offering sheltered entry from nearby beaches. Depths are typically shallow to moderate, with comfortable conditions for buoyancy control and navigation. The area hosts Mediterranean reef-associated species such as wrasses, damselfish, groupers, and dorsally the occasional octopus or moray, with posidonia seagrass meadows nearby. Access is straightforward from Capoliveri or Porto Azzurro, both within a few kilometres and under a 15-minute drive, making it a popular local choice for training dives and short recreational trips.
