Fenals Bar

Fenals Bar is a shallow coastal dive site near Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava. It typically features a gently sloping seabed with rocky edges and scattered patches of poseidonia meadows, making for easy shore-entry dives in calm conditions. The site is commonly used by local dive centers for practice dives and short-depth recreational rounds. Expect Mediterranean reef fish such as wrasse, bream, and octopus, with clear water when visibility is good and water temperatures typical of the region. Currents are usually mild, more noticeable during stronger winds or tidal changes, so the site suits beginner and introductory dives as well as quick refresher courses. Access is straightforward from the nearby coastal towns of Lloret de Mar and Blanes, both within a few kilometers, with multiple access points along the shore.
