Cadaqués
Es Cucurucuc
Es Cucurucuc is a local Mediterranean dive site near the Costa Brava, typically accessed from Cadaqués or nearby towns. The site features a mix of rocky seabed and gentle slopes suitable for early-season to intermediate dives. Expect typical Western Mediterranean life such as groupers, octopus, wrasses and moray eels, with posidonia meadows in the surrounding habitat. Conditions are generally calm in favorable weather with moderate visibility, making it a practical option for a half-day dive from the local hubs. Entry is from shore or a light beach approach, with easier exits at low to mid tides and a shallow topography that gradually deepens beyond recreational depths.
