Sant Andreu De Llavaneres

El Plaer Del Vell

El Plaer del Vell is a coastal dive site near the town of Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, within reach of Mataró and Sant Vicenç de Montalt. The site typically features shallow rocky coastal formations and straightforward entry from the shore. Depths are generally modest, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers, with a calm, sheltered seabed and good visibility on calm days. Divers commonly encounter Mediterranean species such as wrasses, damselfish, two-banded gobies, octopus, and small grouper, along with sea urchins and posidonia meadows in the shallower areas. The site is often used for training dives and easy drift dives along the rocky bottom. Access is quick from nearby towns, with easy logistics for local clubs and shore entries, especially when seas are calm.
