El Laberinto

El Laberinto is a shallow reef dive site off the coast near Moraira, Teulada and Benitatxell in the Costa Blanca. The site typically features a labyrinth of rocky ridges and crevices at shallow to mid depths, with easy access from local beaches. Divers commonly explore over gentle slopes and bommies, looking for a mix of resident reef fish, octopus and small crustaceans. Visibility and current conditions vary with weather; the site is suitable for beginners and for practice dives when seas are calm. Entry is through beach or shore-access points, followed by a short swim to the reef structure. The nearby Mediteranean environment supports typical Western Mediterranean life such as groupers, wrasses,-damsels, morays and posidonia meadows in the area.
