Dhangethi Corner
Dhangethi Corner is a coastal dive site off the southern tip of Dhiggiri Island near Dhangethi in the Maldives. The site sits in shallow to moderate depths typical of reef outskirts, with ledges and sandy patches that host a variety of hard corals and commonly observed reef fish. It is a drift-friendly area influenced by the current, offering schools of fusiliers, snappers, and occasional reef sharks for attentive divers. Access is straightforward from local dhoni boats, making it a convenient option for a half-day dive. The surrounding area features clear, tropical water with good visibility under typical conditions, and a relaxed, relaxed-marine environment suitable for intermediate reef dives.
