Dhigurah

Dhangethi Beru

Dhangethi Beru is a modest local dive site on the atoll coral coastline. Positioned in shallow waters, dives typically cover gentle shelves and small ledges with easy entry from the shore or a boat. The site is popular for beginner to intermediate divers exploring clear tropical waters, with calm conditions common outside monsoon periods. Expect common Maldives reef life including damselfish, snappers, parrotfish, clownfish and occasional reef sharks near the outer edge, along with healthy coral formations and seagrass beds nearby. Conditions are generally stable, but currents can develop offshore; plan conservatively and always follow local briefing. Access is straightforward from nearby guest houses and local dhonis, with nearby towns Dhigurah and Dhangethi acting as helpful reference points for planning.
