Buyung Ssisp

BUYUNG SSISP is a sheltered reef structure in the local marine area around Lapu-Lapu, with shallow depths and calm conditions typical of inshore sites. The dive is characterized by a gently sloping bottom that supports a patchwork of corals and macro life. Access is straightforward from nearby coastal towns, and visibility commonly varies with sea state. Expect a relaxed dive suitable for beginners and training, with species common to the central Philippines including damselfish, triggerfish, and small wrasses, along with occasional larger pelagics patrolling the edge of the reef. The site is best dived during stable weather when currents are mild and water clarity allows easy navigation along the reef. Nearby towns (Lapu-Lapu, Cordova, Lilo-an) provide easy reach and local dive centers routinely run buoyancy and safety briefings for visitors.
