Bugis is a local Tioman dive site positioned off the northeastern coast near the Tioman village area. The site is typically explored from shore or a short boat ride, with shallow to moderate depths suitable for recreational divers. Expect clear tropical water, mild currents, and a mix of coral formations and sandy patches. Common reef residents include an assortment of small reef fish, damselfish, angelfish, and occasional morays, with chances to see sea fans and soft corals along the structure. Access is straightforward for local divers, and conditions are generally calm in good weather. This is more of a relaxed local site than a destination highlights, best suited for day trips from Tioman.
