Dhigurah
Broken Rock
Broken Rock is a shallow, reef-forming dive site off a sandy seabed, typically explored from boat or shore entries depending on conditions. The site features a broken, irregular rock outcrop that creates a gentle topography with small caverns and crevices. Expect calm to mild currents and clear, tropical blue water typical of the region. Day-to-day conditions are often suitable for entry-level divers, though drift occurs with tidal shifts. Marine life commonly includes reef-building species, small reef fish, snappers, parrotfish, and occasional larger visitors attracted to the break. Good visibility and near-surface depth make this site a relaxed option for beginners and a pleasant acclimatization dive for those staying near Dhigurah, Dhangethi or Maamigili.
