Beauperthuis

Beauperthuis is a coastal dive site near Bouillante and Pointe-Noire, on the western coast of Guadeloupe. The site sits in clear tropical Caribbean waters with typical shallow-to-moderate depths and a sandy to rocky bottom habitat. Expect short slopes and gentle drop-offs, suitable for entry via calm shores. The area is known for healthy reef growth and a variety of reef-associated species common to Caribbean dive sites, including parrotfish, angelfish, damselfish, wrasse, and occasional pecking juveniles. Stronger currents can occur with tidal exchange, so planning for modest drift and buoyancy control is advised. Nearby towns provide access and local services, with Bouillante and Deshaies being common launch points within a short drive or boat transfer. The site is commonly used for recreational dives and beginner to intermediate training, with several nearby dive centers offering guided dives and shore diving options.
