Anse Christophe

Anse Christophe is a coastal dive site near Bouillante on the island of Basse-Tont. The site features a gentle slope with sandy patches interspersed by coral heads and rocky outcrops. It is accessible from shore with a short surface swim or a simple entry from a small beach. Typical conditions are calm seas with moderate current, best during stable weather. Expect a mix of common Caribbean reef life: parrotfish, angelfish, grunts, honeymoon wrasse, elkhorn/sea fans in sparse coral growth, and occasional sea turtles in calmer seasons. The site is suitable for beginners and for check-out dives, or for a relaxed drift along the edge of the reef. Nearby towns Bouillante and Vieux-Habitants provide access and services.
