Zelena Lanterna

Zelena lanterna is a small coastal dive site near the Istrian towns of Banjole, Pomer, and Pješčana Uvala. It lies in shallow to mid-depth water typical of the Adriatic coast, with rocky seabed, fragmented reefs, and clear visibility in good conditions. The site is commonly explored by local divers as a pleasant shore dive or a short boat hop from nearby resorts. Expect Mediterranean species such as wrasses, damselfish, gobies, octopus, and small groupers around rocky outcrops, plus posidonia seagrass beds nearby. Entry is straightforward from gentle sloping shores or a short swim from a boat, and currents are usually light to moderate depending on conditions. The site offers friendly conditions for beginner to intermediate divers and can be combined with nearby access points for multiple shallow dives in a single day.
