Zaliev is a local dive site near Krk, Croatia, in the northern Adriatic Sea. It lies close to shore and is typically accessed from the Krk Island coast. The site is suitable for recreational dives with gentle depths and simple entry/exit, making it a convenient option for warm-water shore dives. Expect a shallow, rocky seabed with sparse structures and typical Mediterranean-thermal assemblage of small reef fishes, blennies, gobies and occasional wrasses. Visibility and currents are generally calm, but conditions can change with wind and tides. This site is commonly used by local dive schools and experienced divers for buoyancy practice and enjoyable, relaxed dives close to town. Proximity to Punat and Stara Baška offers easily combined day trips, and nearby centers support rental gear and guided dives.
