Vis, Wreck

Vis Wreck is a notable Mediterranean dive site off Vis Island, Croatia. The wreck rests on a gentle seabed slope with depths typically around the 20–30 metre range, making it accessible to trained divers with proper buoyancy control. The wreck is a mid-size vessel that lies intact on a sandy bottom, offering good penetration opportunities for qualified wreck divers and exterior exploration for others. Surrounding clear Adriatic waters host a diverse range of small pelagic and reef-associated species typical of the region, with a backdrop of rocky bottoms and patches of seagrass nearby. Stronger currents can occur with tides, so plan dives with local guidance and appropriate certification.
