Valleys is a local dive site near Morne Rouge, Grand Anse and Saint George's on Grenada’s southwest coast. The site sits in saltwater off a volcanic coastline with typical Caribbean conditions: clear to moderately clear water, gentle to moderate currents depending on tides, and a shallow to mid-depth profile. It is commonly explored by boat, with entry from a drift-free shore option at calm conditions. The underwater topography includes reef-forming structures, crevices and small rock outcrops that support a range of reef life. Expect common Caribbean species such as parrotfish, triggerfish, grunts, myliobatids, and damselfish, along with invertebrates like urchins, sea cucumbers and sponges. The site is suitable for recreational divers and can accommodate a relaxed drift on certain days. Local dive centers in nearby towns offer guided trips and equipment rental. Nearby hubs provide quick access to refresher dives, check-out dives or training sessions.
