Underwater Triglav

Underwater Triglav is a coastal dive site near Portorož in the Adriatic. The site comprises a gentle slope and rocky outcrops that drop into blue waters typical of the northern Adriatic. Access is straightforward from the nearby towns, with sheltered conditions common in this area. Divers can expect a mix of rocky habitats, small caves and crevices, and a variety of Mediterranean and Adriatic species such as wrasse, gobies, bream, groupers and blennies, depending on season. The site is suitable for recreational divers as a calm, shore- or boat-based dive with moderate currents and good viz in most conditions. Entry is from the rocky shore or a nearby quay, with a shallow plateau and then a slow descent to deeper sections that range to around 20 meters.
