Turtle Cove

Turtle Cove is a sheltered coastal dive site known for its clear water and easy access. Located on the island’s northern shoreline, it features calm conditions suitable for beginners and twilight dives alike, with entry from a sandy/rocky shore and gentle to moderate seabed slopes. The site typically hosts a mix of reef-building organisms and small to mid-sized reef fish, including damsels, parrotfish, wrasse, and snappers, with chances to see sea turtles and rays in shallow protection zones. Depths are shallow to moderate, making it a good option for students and snorkelers transitioning to scuba. Access is straightforward from nearby towns, and local dive centers often offer guided dives and check-out trips from the coast.
