Torpilleur

Torpilleur is a local dive site in the Mediterranean near La Croix-Valmer, Cavalaire-sur-Mer and Ramatuelle. The site lies along the coastal shelf with a gentle slope to deeper water and offers straightforward entry from a rocky shoreline. Expect typical Western Mediterranean conditions, with clear visibility in good weather and moderate currents at times. The area commonly hosts reef-associated species such as groupers, octopus, moray eels and parrotfish, along with thriving posidonia meadows in softer bottoms. The site is suitable for recreational divers and can be included in a day of coastal diving from nearby towns. Access is convenient for divers based in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez corridor, with several nearby dive centers operating charters and shore dives.
