Tokomasari Reef

Tokomasari Reef is a shallow coastal reef site accessed from Itoman or nearby Naha, Okinawa. The reef develops along a sloping sandy bottom with several coral heads and small bommies offering easy entries from the shore or a short boat ride. Depths are typically shallow, making it suitable for beginners and macro-focused dives, with visibility often good on calm days. Divers commonly encounter a mix of reef fishes such as damselfish, parrotfish, wrasse, and clownfish, along with various octocorals and small invertebrates. The site can be exposed to modest currents and wave action, so buoyancy and entry technique matter for a relaxed dive near the coast.
