Tascó Gros

Tascó Gros is a local dive site in the Costa Brava region, typically accessed from the town of Torroella de Montgrí and nearby coastal villages. The site is known for rocky reef formations and shallow to mid-depth profiles common to coastal Catalan dives. Expect a mix of seagrass meadows, small reef-crest features, and typical Western Mediterranean marine life such as groupers, octopus, moray eels, and various wrasse species. Conditions are generally calm in favorable weather with moderate visibility; currents, if present, are usually mild. Entry from the shore or a small local boat can be used, and the site is suitable for recreational divers with basic to intermediate training.
