Talisay Pier

Talisay Pier is a coastal dive site located near the town of Talisay. The site, typically accessed from the pier, offers shallow, easy-entry conditions suitable for beginner divers and snorkelers when sea conditions permit. Expect sandy bottoms with nearby patches of seagrass and occasional small reef-building organisms along the nearshore fringe. Marine life is modest and commonly includes small reef fishes, gobies, damselfish, and snappers, with better opportunities near the structure of the pier for encrusting invertebrates and juvenile species. Visibility can vary with tides and weather, and currents are usually mild, making this a suitable site for warm-water, shallow-water training dives or relaxed plays on the surface with a safety stop. Access from Calayugan Norte, Cabacongan, or Mocpoc Norte is straightforward, with short boat or shore approaches depending on conditions.
