Spotorno Terzo Molo

Spotorno-Terzo Molo is a shallow coastal site near Spotorno on the Ligurian coast. The site sits along a groin and concrete pier, with easy entry from the shore. Depths are generally shallow, suitable for beginners and training dives, while experienced divers can explore around the pier structure at greater depths. Expect typical Mediterranean coastal life: wrasses, damsels, gobies, and octopus in crevices, with eel and small schools common around the pilings. Visibility varies with tides and weather but is commonly fair to good in calm conditions. Currents are usually mild near the structure, and local access is straightforward from Spotorno or the nearby Bergeggo and Merello areas, making it a convenient option for a short dive while staying close to town.
