Cabacongan
South Point Cabilao
South Point Cabilao is a coastal dive site on Bohol’s western side, near the village areas of Cabacongan and surrounding towns. The site typically features a shallow to mid-depth reef structure with clear tropical water and generous light, making it suitable for drift or reef dives depending on currents. Expect healthy hard coral formations, with a variety of small reef fishes, damselfish, butterflyfish, and occasional larger reef inhabitants. Entry usually from a sandy or rubble bottom into a protected reef plateau or vertical drop, with visibility commonly good in dry seasons. Access is straightforward from local resorts or dive centers in nearby communities, with divers often pairing this site with other nearby reefs for a half-day excursion.
