Serra Di Ferro
Sec Du Taravu
Sec du Taravu is a coastal dive site along the Corsican littoral. The area features gently sloping seabed and rocky/pebble bottom with typical coastal Mediterranean conditions. Access is straightforward from nearby towns; best diving is in calm weather with moderate currents. The site is known for its clear water and typical Western Mediterranean fauna, including wrasses, groupers, parrotfish, octopus and occasional seabream. The Taravu area offers scenic topography with sandy patches and rocky outcrops, making it suitable for both beginner and intermediate divers depending on entry point and depth. Local divers often combine this site with visits to nearby bays and the nearby protected areas to enjoy marine life and coastal scenery.
