San Luis Beach

San Luis Beach is a shallow coastal site characterized by calm, sandy bottoms and gentle sloping shallows. The area is known for easy access from the shore, making it suitable for entry-level divers and snorkelers. Expect limited topography with soft sand and occasional nearshore patches of seagrass or algae. Marine life is typical of tropical lagoon environments, including small reef-associated fishes, wrasses and gobies, with more active sightings closer to structure or reefs nearby. Conditions are generally tranquil with sea conditions influenced by local winds; currents are usually mild, and visibility can vary with run-off and plankton. This site is best enjoyed as a relaxed training or buoyancy-check dive and a first taste of local coastal biodiversity in the Piti and Asan–Hågat area.
