Riff Nienhagen is a local shore dive site off the Baltic coast near the town of Nienhagen. The site is a shallow rocky reef that starts in shallow depths and gradually slopes with typical Baltic marine life. Access is straightforward from the beach with a sandy entry and easy exit. Conditions are generally calm in good weather, with visibility commonly ranging from fair to good for the region. Divers often encounter small reef-associated species such as wrasse, gobies, blennies and blennies, along with flatfish and crustaceans among the stones and sea floor. The area is suitable for recreational diving and for divers building buoyancy and mine-free entry skills. Nearby towns including Nienhagen, Elmenhorst/Lichtenhagen and Börgerende provide access and local services.
