Ralagala

Ralagala is a local dive site near Hikkaduwa in Sri Lanka, within reach from the coastal towns of Hikkaduwa and nearby communities. The area offers typical tropical reef environments with soft coral growth and a variety of small reef fishes. Visibility can vary with conditions, and currents are usually mild to moderate for guided dives. Depths at this site are shallow to moderate, making it accessible for recreational divers with basic training. Entry is usually from the shoreline or a small boat drop, with easy orientation along the reef profile. The site lies in the wider tropical marine ecosystem off the south coast, where divers commonly encounter wrasses, angelfish, and gobies, along with diurnal reef species.
