Pointe Borgnèse
Pointe Borgnèse is a shallow coral-sand site near the Caribbean island’s southern coast. The area typically features gentle slopes with patchy coral heads and sandy patches, suitable for easy checks of buoyancy and navigation. Access is straightforward from the nearby towns, with divers commonly starting from small coves and exploring close to the wall drop-offs at the edge of the plateau. Expect calm conditions in good weather, and mild currents that are generally manageable for beginner to intermediate divers. Typical Western Atlantic reef life around Pointe Borgnèse includes various damselfishes, parrotfishes, trumpetfishes, grunts, snappers, and moray eels, with occasional sea turtles and rays in broader habitat. The site offers clear readability with a relaxed drift along the near-bottom features, and it is often used for training and short recreational dives.
