Playing Field

Playing Field is a local shore dive site near small residential areas. The site features a gently sloping sandy bottom with scattered patches of seagrass and occasional rubble from nearby development. It is suitable for training dives and for divers building buoyancy and navigation skills, with easy access from the beach. Expect calm inSshore conditions, limited currents, and typical temperate-water life such as small reef fish, juvenile parrotfish, snails and crabs, plus occasional rays or larger pelagics skirting the area. Depths are shallow and gradual, making this a relaxed option for a first few local dives.
