Saint Pierre Quiberon
Plage Des Sables Blancs
Plage des Sables Blancs is a shore dive site along the Brittany coast of France. The site features a sandy to rocky bottom with gentle sloping entries and a variety of seagrass patches typical of the region. Access is straightforward from the beach, making it a suitable option for beginners on calm days and for training dives. Expect shallow waters with typical Western European coastal life such as wrasses, blennies, gobies, pollack, small sharks or rays not guaranteed, and a mix of crabs and shrimps among the rock outcrops. Visibility can vary with tides and weather, and currents are usually light at the shore. The area is close to the towns of Saint-Pierre-Quiberon, Carnac and Port Haliguen, which can serve as practical anchors for planning a local day of diving along the coast.
